i went on a road trip leave home on August 21st and returning on September 8th, 2000. Here's my basic route information: 8/21/2000 Drive from North Bend, WA to Eureka, CA via US 101 aka Pacific Coast Highway! 8/22/2000 Drive from Eureka, CA to San Jose, CA via US 101. Have lunch with Charles and then switch to going down Interstate 5 into Anaheim, CA to stay at the Disneyland Pacific Hotel. 8/23/2000 Spend the day in Disneyland. WEEEEE! 8/24/2000 Another day in Disneyland. 8/25/2000 Drive from Anaheim, CA to Salt Lake City, CA via Interstate 15. Spend the night at Kerby's apartment. 8/26/2000 Still in SLC, have lunch with Lyssa at the Village Inn. Go ice skating with Kerby. This was my first time ice skating ever and I only fell twice! Too bad I forget my camera. 8/27/2000 Salt Lake City, UT - Kearney, NE via Interstate 80. 8/28/2000 Hang out in Kearny and have dinner with Danielle. :) Ohh and I bought a new CB at radio shack. 8/29/2000 Kearny, NE - Topeka, KS taking Interstate 80 into Omaha, NE and then US 75 into Topeka. I get to have dinner with my mommy! 8/30/2000 Still in Topeka, visited my old high school, go to eat lunch with Anne Hageman, Art Sandquist, Art's wife, and the band teacher (why am I spacing his name). 8/31/2000 I goof off :) 9/1/2000 More goofing off... 9/2/2000 Even more goofing off. Went by the MDA office to look at a printer... 9/3/2000 Wow I am such a goof. Okay well I did help setup for the MDA Labor day telethon a bit. 9/4/2000 MDA Labor Day Telethon. Spent the whole day. Went out for pizza with mom after. 9/5/2000 Spent the day running around. Went with my mom to take care of a few errands, i.e. get transcripts, and visit a friend. I also went by and saw my grandfather. Ate dinner with my Uncle. 9/6/2000 Leave Topeka, via Interstate 70 to Denver and then Interstate 25 into Cheyenne, WY. 9/7/2000 Cheyenne, WY to SLC, UT via Interstate 80. Hang out for the evening with Lyssa and Coco-. Go to eat at the Spaghetti Factory. I bought some books on tape to entertain me for my long drive home the next night. Ohh and I stayed at Kerby's place again. 9/8/2000 SLC, UT to HOME. via Interstate 15 to Interstate 84 to Interstate 82 to Interstate 90. All in all I drove 5435 miles in around 3 weeks. What a trip and I was glad to be home. What follows is some pictures of my trip. :) Yes I know some of them are awful. My digital camera doesn't do so good in the dark but I think you'll see that I'm getting better with it. :)
